I don&#039;t see any exploration of the alternative economies that media companies in the developing world are using to power growth: virtual currencies, attention currencies, social gaming, etc. Look at South Africa&#039;s Naspers / Media24 (reputedly the world&#039;s 5th largest media conglomerate), &amp; its diversification into ownership of social networking platforms + virtual currencies such as QQ / TenCent in China.</description>
